2009 HONOREE: Rhonda Weinman
Dear Friend,
Please help us invest in our children’s health and
future through our Prevention Is the Cure (PITC) Campaign.
Over the years we have created public education programs on
ways to reduce the risks of disease. PITC is an anti-disease,
environmental campaign that brings fresh perspective to the
causes of disease rather than ways of coping once diagnosed.
There is mounting scientific evidence that disease is not
caused by genes alone, but by the interaction of environmental
triggers.
Please support our
4th Annual “Bag Ladies Benefit“
Thursday, May 7, 2009 · 6-10PM
The Hamlet Golf & Country Club, Commack, New York
Last year, we created a high energy, unique fundraising
event attracting over 200 guests, raising over $30,000, as
we auctioned off new & gently used handbags and boutique
accessories.
We would very much appreciate a donation of a designer handbag,
an accessory, a gift certificate, a gift basket or goodie
bag item for this year’s event.
Proudly we will present an Event Journal to be distributed
to all attendees.
A portion of the proceeds raised at this event will help
fund our 2009 Students & Scientists Environmental Research
Scholarship Program. “A one of a kind hands-on program,
designed to encourage the interests of young men and women
in environmental science and public health, giving students
the opportunity to work beside world renowned researchers
while participating in sophisticated laboratory procedures
at a national state of the art facility.”
